Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Data Analyst/Data Director to join Devon's dynamic campaign team, aiming for victories in both the McKenzie School District #68 School Board and the Lane Education Service District Board of Directors in Lane County, OR. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving our campaign strategies through insightful data analysis and voter targeting. Your expertise will guide our decision-making processes, optimize our outreach efforts, and significantly contribute to our goal of winning both elections with at least 60% of the vote.

### **Responsibilities:**
- Develop and manage comprehensive databases of voter information, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Analyze voter data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, providing actionable insights for targeted campaign strategies.
- Work closely with the field director and digital director to optimize outreach and engagement efforts.
- Design and execute polls and surveys, analyzing results for strategic planning.
- Prepare detailed reports on campaign performance, voter demographics, and engagement metrics.
- Collaborate with the communications team to tailor messages based on data-driven insights.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines related to campaign data management.

### **Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Political Science, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees preferred. A degree will not be necessary if you have the relevant experience.
- Proven experience in data analysis or data management, preferably in a political campaign setting.
- Strong proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., R, Python, SQL) and database management systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Experience with voter targeting software and CRM platforms is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
