We are looking to fill this position ASAP.

We are seeking a Deputy Director of California State and National Development. The successful candidate should have deep political skills, including political experience in state legislature or federal government, on Democratic political campaigns, and/or equivalent activities, with proven ability to handle multiple tasks successfully.                
                                                                        
Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with key elected leaders, donors and community groups at the state and national levels                            
- Analyze local political trends, internal assessments of campaigns, perform the necessary research and present to key stakeholders 
- Stay current on events and trends to identify potential risks and develop solutions
- Support buildout events in support of state and national clients of the firm
- Research potential donors to gain insight into priorities to better understand how to position our clients                            
- Highly detailed organization of project tracking, target lists and client lists
- Perform other activities as assigned by the executive leadership team

Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years in communications, policy, politics or like experience
- Bachelors degree required
- The ideal candidate has worked on state or local campaigns
- Remote or California based
