Job Description

The 2024 New Hampshire Democratic Party Coordinated Campaign is seeking a Deputy Voter Protection Director (DVPD) to help oversee the 2024 voter protection program. We are looking for someone passionate about voting rights and committed to the coordinated campaign’s
mission of working to elect President Biden and Democrats up and down the ballot. The Deputy will assist the Voter Protection Director in designing a robust voter protection program that protects all voters within the Granite State. The DVPD will manage a team of
Regional Voter Protection Directors and Fellows tasked with executing the voter protection plan. This position is a full-time in person role based in New Hampshire.

Key Responsibilities & Expectations:
● Hire, train, and manage a diverse team of Regional Voter Protection Directors and Fellows to
implement the voter protection program throughout the state.
● Build out infrastructure and accountability systems to ensure the campaign reaches its poll
observer, hotline, boiler room, and liaison recruitment goals while improving the volunteer
experience for each type of volunteer.
● Work with the Voter Protection Director to develop, produce, and disseminate accurate voting
information to voters.
● Develop and maintain relationships with election officials, party leadership, campaigns, and
other stakeholders.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
● Previous organizing experience and NGP Van fluency is strongly preferred.
● Excellent research, written, and oral communication skills.
● Project management, time management, and organizational skills.
● Experience managing staff and volunteers
● Ability to collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders.
● A willingness to learn and help others grow professionally.
● A Juris Doctorate (JD) is preferred
● Commitment to electing Democrats up and down the ticket in New Hampshire
