## **Job Description:**
Curtis Hertel’s Campaign for Congress in Michigan’s 7th District is seeking a full-time Field/Community Organizers Director to begin ASAP. 

## **Responsibilities: **
- Work alongside Field Director and other Organizers to execute on a robust, data-driven field plan specifically focused on electing Curtis Hertel in MI-07 through direct voter contact and community organizing. 
- Develop and train volunteer teams for direct voter contact. 
- Build relationships and work with local community groups and leaders, unions and other campaign partners.
- Assist in planning and facilitating campaign events for the candidate. 
- Track and report metrics for your programs; maintain data integrity. 
## **Job Requirements: **
- Strong organizational, communication and writing skills
- One full or partial cycle of general campaign experience preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of and/or willingness to learn digital tools including VAN. 
- Located in/near Lansing or willing to relocate to the district for in-person work. 
- A strong passion to elect Democrats, keep the MI-07th blue, and flip the House!
