## **Job Description:**
Curtis Hertel’s Campaign for Congress in Michigan’s 7th District is seeking a full-time Field/Organizing Director  to begin ASAP. We are looking for someone with previous organizing/field experience who is hard-working and passionate about electing. This role will report to the Campaign Manager. 

## **Responsibilities: **
- Develop and execute a robust, data-driven field plan specific to MI-07, including strategies for Dem base turnout and independent/undecided voter persuasion, as well as student voter outreach and constituency-based organizing programs. 
- Train and manage a team of Field Organizers to execute on volunteer recruitment and direct voter contact programs. 
- Build relationships and work with local community groups and leaders, unions and other campaign partners.
- Collaborate closely with counterparts in Michigan’s coordinated campaign. 
- Assist in planning and facilitating campaign events for the candidate. 
- Manage campaign VAN account and maintain data integrity. Report and track key metrics for the field program.

## **Job Requirements: **
- Strong organizational, communication and writing skills
- 2-3 cycles of campaign organizing/field experience preferred but not required
- Proficiency in VAN, including training and data management. 
- Knowledge of and/or ability to learn and work with various digital organizing tools.  
- Located in/near Lansing or willing to relocate to the district for in-person work. 
- A strong passion to elect Democrats, keep the MI-07th blue, and flip the House!
