Pat Ryan for Congress is seeking a Finance Assistant. In 2022, Rep. Pat Ryan (NY-18) was the only Democrat in New York to win a toss-up race. NY-18 will be a top race nationally, so we’re building the team we’ll need to win again in 2024. We expect that this position will start in Q2 of 2024.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assisting the Deputy Finance Director and Finance Director with the call time program, including conducting donor research, staffing the candidate during call time, and taking thorough notes
- Conducting donor follow-up, including chase calls and thank you notes
- Working with the team to build and coordinate events for the candidate throughout the district as well as nationally
- Staffing the candidate at finance events
- Assisting Finance team with grassroots fundraising management, such as volunteer fundraising, scheduling calls for the candidate, and direct mail fundraising
- Helping with other aspects of the campaign as necessary
**Required Qualifications**
- Team player and self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- This is an entry-level position, however campaign experience (including as a volunteer or intern) is a plus
- Driver's license and access to a car
This is a full-time position based in the Hudson Valley, with a competitive salary range of $4,000 - $4,500 a month plus health benefits. Supporter housing can be coordinated for applicants.
