Debbie Mucarsel-Powell’s campaign for U.S. Senate is seeking a **Finance Assistant** to join a growing finance team. This is a full-time, paid position perfect for someone interested in starting their career and learning more about Democratic campaigns and fundraising.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with candidate call time
- Identifying and researching potential new supporters
- Compiling briefings and event materials
- Communicating with campaign donors and event hosts
- Providing key administrative and organizational support for the finance team
- Staffing events and travel as needed (some national travel may be required)
- Other responsibilities as required
Qualifications:
- Strong writing, organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, responsiveness, and passion for the work
- Flexible and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Access to cell phone, laptop, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation
- A strong commitment to diversity, inclusion, equity and anti-racism
Valued Non-essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Florida ties
- Spanish fluency
- Prior working experience with NGP 8, ActBlue, Word, and Google Sheets/ Excel
- Experience managing a call time for a principal
**Location:**
This position is based in Miami, FL and will involve some travel around Florida.
**Salary:**
The salary for this position is $4,500 per month.
