The Rob Sand for Iowa campaign is looking for a highly motivated Finance Events Manager.
This position will report to the Finance Director.

Salary: $5,000/month

race from “Solid Republican” to “Lean Republican, ”a rare and significant two-tier shift. The report called Rob “the strongest contender his party could have recruited for the open seat.”
Key Responsibilities:
● Work closely with the Finance Director to plan, execute, and manage all campaign
fundraising events
● Recruit and engage hosts for fundraising events across Iowa and nationally
● Form and coordinate host committees for major events
● Track revenue, expenses, and performance metrics for each event
● Oversee event logistics from planning through execution
● Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations and campaign finance laws
● Collaborate with other departments to maximize event impact
● Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
● At least one full cycle of campaign finance or fundraising experience
● Proven track record in planning and executing fundraising events
● Experience managing paid staff is preferred
● Highly organized, with strong attention to detail
● Goal-oriented and driven by ambitious fundraising targets
● Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
● Open to feedback with a growth mindset
● Willingness to work irregular and long hours, including evenings and weekends during
peak campaign season
● Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively and support colleagues
● Must have a reliable personal laptop
