Job Description

The Media Associate is responsible for supporting clients in researching, trafficking, launching, and optimizing paid media campaigns across various platforms. This includes supporting staff members across departments to ensure excellent client support and program delivery. This is a junior generalist position in a new company that will come with other duties as assigned.

**Reports to:** Senior Media Buyer
**Classification:** FTE, permanently remote
**Term:** Limited, with an estimated start date of June 1, 2024 and a planned end date of November 22, 2024

**Media Associate Overview: **
The Media Associate is responsible for supporting clients in researching, trafficking, launching, and optimizing paid media campaigns across various platforms. This includes supporting staff members across departments to ensure excellent client support and program delivery. This is a junior generalist position in a new company that will come with other duties as assigned.

**Media Associate Responsibilities: **
- Traffic digital advertising campaigns in a variety of ad platforms, including Facebook, Google Ads, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Campaign Manager 360 or another DSP. 
- Traffic linear ads to broadcast and cable TV stations via Comcast Ad Delivery, Extreme Reach, or another platform. 
- Provide a quality assurance process for each campaign to ensure creative, targets, and campaign goals align with media plans. 
- Assist the Director of Research & Analytics with background research before campaigns are launched. 
- Assist in producing post-campaign reports. 
- Create and troubleshoot ad accounts for clients on the aforementioned platforms including political verification. 
- This is a junior generalist position in a new company that will come with other duties as assigned. Due to the age and size of the organization it is highly likely that this position will be expected to perform duties that are not listed in this description. 

**Media Associate Qualifications:**
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- High proficiency with MS Office and Google workspace suites
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve in new and high pressure situations
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work on a number of projects, move between them fluidly, and be responsive in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
- Experience working in the progressive political sphere strongly preferred or a demonstrated interest in campaigns and causes

**Media Associate Compensation: **
- $55,000 annually
