Job Description

## **Overview **

[Power the Polls](https://powerthepolls.org/) is a first-of-its-kind initiative to recruit poll workers to ensure safe, fair elections for all voters. In 2020, America faced a record shortage of poll workers due to the coronavirus pandemic — and Power the Polls helped recruit over 700,000 people to help meet that challenge.

In 2022, Power the Polls relaunched its campaign to meet targeted poll worker needs in nearly 600 priority jurisdictions and mobilized over 265,000 potential poll workers — 70% of whom were recruited through our [diverse coalition of corporate and nonprofit partners](https://www.powerthepolls.org/partners). Now, the work is already underway for our most significant year yet in 2024.

As we gear up for 2024, Power the Polls is hiring for a Partnerships Manager to manage our nonprofit partnerships for the 2024 cycle. This role will report to the Power the Polls National Program Manager, who reports to the Project Director of the [Civic Responsibility Project](http://www.civicresponsibility.org), where Power the Polls is fiscally sponsored. This initial six-month contract role will begin in April 2024 and last through September 2024, with the possibility of extending through December 2024.
