Tammy Baldwin for Senate is seeking a Press Assistant who will be the backstop of the Communications Team, assisting in educating the public about Tammy Baldwin and the Republicans running against her. 
**Responsibilities **

- Assist Communications Team with outreach to press, stakeholders, and other allies
- Compile daily news clips and monitor news coverage of the senator and Republican opponents
- Draft written materials for internal and external use, including talking points, press releases, statements, and memos
- Help maintain press list and distribute materials
- Other duties as assigned by the Communications Director, Press Secretary, and Rapid Response Director

**Qualifications **
- Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of being detail-oriented
- Excellent attention to detail and writing ability
- Ability to remain highly organized and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for electing Democrats in the state of Wisconsin
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to meet deadlines.

**Compensation **
- $4500 per month 
- Mileage reimbursement for campaign travel

- This is a bargaining unit position with the IBEW
