In 2024, Arizona will be a premier battleground state with highly competitive races to elect Democrats at every level of the ticket. The Arizona Democratic Party is seeking Regional Organizing Directors that will manage a team of Organizers that will engage supporters and mobilize voters to cast their ballot for President Biden and Arizona Democrats.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage a team of Organizers responsible for mobilizing volunteers and supporters across their geographic turf
- Coach and support Organizers to successfully implement the organizing plan in their turf and meet metrics
- Ensure Organizers and volunteers are trained and have the skills and tools needed to be successful in their roles 
- Create systems that lead Organizers to prioritize and meet metric goals
- Create positive and focused culture that can motivate your team in a fast paced environment
- Consistently meet stated deadlines and communicate with your manager when challenges arise

** Skills & Qualifications:**
- 1-2 cycles of organizing experience
- Highly organized and able to work independently 
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds 
- Strong communication skills and the ability to state your needs and those of the staff you manage
- Solutions-oriented, creative, and flexible problem solver 
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus, but not required
- Arizona ties a plus, but not required

**Logistics: **
- Location: This is an in-person, full time position in Arizona for the 2024 election cycle
- Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until positions are filled
- Driver’s license and access to a vehicle required
- Benefits: Eligible for UnitedHealthcare Medical, Dental, Vision plan at no premium
- This position is part of a bargaining unit represented by the IBEW.
- Salary for this position is $5,250 per month from the start date through August and increases to $6,050 from September through November
