We are looking for a talented, passionate, and highly motivated individual to help lead us to victory in 2024 as State Content and Mobilization Director. This director is responsible for building an in-state digital team to reach voters in innovative and creative ways. We are seeking folks from a variety of backgrounds and professional experiences. 

This position will report to the General Election Director and is based in Detroit, Michigan. 
Responsibilities 
● Responsible for building an in-state digital team that will lead content strategy, virtual engagement and volunteer recruitment. 
● Reach as many voters across all of Michigan through persuasive virtual messaging about the President and Democrats up and down the ticket. 
● Build online community spaces for supporter cultivation and help with volunteer recruitment. 
● Create Michigan specific content based on campaign message goals for grassroots distribution to voters. 
● Collaborate with the organizing department to provide virtual support for phone banking and texting volunteers. 
● Coach, hire and onboard in state content and mobilization staff. 

Required Qualifications 
● At least 3+ cycles of campaign experience 
● Previous experience organizing or communicating through online communities
● Experience creating content for and utilizing a variety of platforms 
● Experience managing an inclusive and welcoming team 
● Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively and clearly communicate with organizers, activists and local leaders. 
● Must have access to a cell phone, vehicle and ability to relocate if necessary. 

This position offers a salary of $8,500 - $9,500 per month based on experience and includes a full benefits package with health, vision and dental insurance.
