Position: Fellows Program Coordinator
Location: Remote (schedule based on your time zone)
Compensation: $4,550 -$6,370/month (commensurate with experience)

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Fellows Program Director, the Fellows Program Coordinator is responsible for the implementation and coordination of Progressive Turnout Project’s (PTP) 2024 Campaign Fellows program, which embeds voter contact-focused staffers (i.e. Campaign Fellows) on state and federal Democratic campaigns. This includes:
Working with targeted campaigns or state parties to enroll Fellows
Providing weekly virtual orientation
Facilitating at least three daily virtual discussion groups Monday through Friday to review direct voter contact training topics
Scheduling and holding virtual one-on-one meetings with Fellows as needed
Ensuring Fellows are meeting program expectations
You will be a good fit for this role if you are self-motivated, energetic, have the capacity to facilitate frequent online meetings, and are passionate about coaching and training PTP staff placed on targeted Democratic campaigns in federal and state legislative races about political organizing and getting out the vote. Interviews for this position will be scheduled virtually. This position will require travel to Chicago the week of June 10, 2024 and may include weekend travel to PTP targeted campaign districts as needed throughout September and October 2024.
This is a remote position and may be performed anywhere in the United States, with a daily schedule based on your time zone. Responsibilities:
Communicate with prospective Fellows and enroll them into our program
Assign, organize, and manage the placement of Campaign Fellows in virtual discussion groups
Coordinate and facilitate virtual weekly orientation, multiple daily discussion groups (at least 3 per day), comprehension checks, coaching, and one-on-one meetings with Fellows
Make sure Fellows meet program requirements by monitoring and tracking these steps using Google Suite products
Communicate daily with individual Fellows through calls, texts, and emails for the purpose of receiving status updates and providing guidance where needed to meet requirements, and communicate effectively with the Fellows Program Director
Drive the onboarding, training, and continued coaching of all Fellows on a specific timeline, ensuring timely completion of tasks in line with program objectives

Qualifications (You will be a good fit if):
You have at least 2 cycles of Field experience or equivalent organizing experience that shows increasing responsibility and leadership
You have experience managing relationships with a variety of stakeholders and escalating issues to leadership
You have exceptional presentation skills that you have used to communicate to and facilitate conversations with diverse audiences
You’re proficient in G Suite Products (Gmail, Sheets, Calendar, Drive, etc)
You are comfortable making cold calls, sending text messages, and emailing to proactively engage others
You often approach high-pressure situations with patience, courtesy, and respect and know when there is a need to escalate high priority issues to leadership
You consistently deliver solutions in a creative and imaginative manner while setting a standard for others
You are exceptionally well organized with intense attention to detail and process
You must be comfortable with a day-to-day schedule that may fluctuate based on meetings and program needs, including early morning or late evening work
Preferred Qualifications (Not required but helpful):
You are proficient in VAN (especially list building, turf cutting, monitoring canvass results, and managing MiniVAN users)
You have experience in various campaign roles (e.g. campaign manager, treasurer, call time manager, regional field director)
You have experience hiring and managing paid staff; with additional focus on staff professional development
