Ashley Ehasz for Congress is seeking a passionate, experienced** Organizing Director** for her competitive 2024 campaign for US Congress in PA-01. Ashley is a 13-year combat veteran running to flip a House seat in a Biden +5 district. The Organizing Director will be responsible for creating and executing a large-scale organizing program across the district. Ideal candidates will have staff and volunteer management experience, the ability to analyze and communicate key voter-contact data and metrics, and excellent communication and organizational skills.** This is a full-time, cycle-based position located in the Philadelphia, PA area.**
Responsibilities:
Design and execute a voter contact program across the district
Hire, train, and manage organizing staff and student fellows to build a strong volunteer recruitment and retention program
Work with the campaign manager and campaign partners to create, adjust, and track progress on key field metrics
Develop and maintain strong relationships with local Democratic activists, key stakeholders, local party leaders, and other campaigns and grassroots organizations
Manage out of district volunteer program
Other responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications:
At least two cycles of relevant campaign or community organizing experience, ideally with at least one cycle of staff management
Proven ability to manage teams of volunteers and staff thoughtfully
Proficiency with Votebuilder, Mobilize, and texting/dialer platforms
Willingness to collaborate in a team environment to solve complex problems and work across departments when necessary to meet long term goals
Ability to multitask, balance competing priorities, and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and organizational skills, including high level of attention to detail
Ability to work irregular hours, including some nights and weekends
Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle
