Position Summary:
The Associate, Channel Marketing (Temporary) role will execute and implement a thoughtful, high-impact marketing strategy for LEE’s member experience journey. This role requires top-notch collaboration, relationship-building, and prioritization, with a proven ability to influence laterally across teams to achieve shared goals. The Associate will own channel execution while building strong bridges with cross-departmental teams as well as within the Member Marketing team.
The Associate will leverage their understanding of LEE’s member journey and their own data-informed practices to create digital content and drive conversions. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is excited to execute and implement the vision of our Member Marketing team, and create impactful content across multiple channels to maximize impact for LEE members.
The Associate, Channel Marketing (Temporary) operates in an individual contributor capacity and reports to the Vice President, Member Marketing. The Associate, Channel Marketing (Temporary) is a full-time, temporary position for up to 40 hours per week. This is a full-time, temporary position for up to one year (May 2026 - May 2027), with the opportunity to be considered for conversion to a regular, full-time role as early as the six-month mark based on individual performance and organizational strategy.

Travel Requirements: 15-20% for in-person LEE programming and team retreats/planning
Responsibilities:
Multi-Channel Campaign Design (40%)
Translate high-level strategy into organized, well-executed, cohesive, multi-channel campaign plans
Ensure the campaign strategy reflects member journey stages and touchpoints
Use data to inform campaign design and establish & track campaign metrics
Tailor messages to audience and channel including inbound social messaging
Employ Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and digital optimization tactics within each campaign and conduct keyword research to optimize content_ (future state)_
Campaign Execution & Content Creation (30%)
Collaborate with the Member Marketing team to create and track timelines and workflows across teams
Partner with internal teams to translate their needs into stories, infographics, posts, blogs, and other digital content and create assets to drive conversion
Ensure brand consistency (i.e., tone, visuals etc.), message relevance, and clarity by segment by channel
Coordinate channel sequencing and timing with internal teams
Lead testing and experimentation to optimize campaigns
Develop campaign playbooks or standards of practice that enable scale
Channel Management (20%)
Develop and implement best in class practices across channels and marketing automations
Identify, test, and scale new marketing and member engagement channels and ideas to drive meaningful progress
Establish goals and optimize digital spend to achieve both short-term and long-term channel performance_ (future state)_
Special Projects (10%)
Lead or contribute to team-level, org-wide, or cross-team special projects to accelerate impact as assigned by manager or designee
Provide short-term coverage of other Associate-level duties during a leave, vacancy, or PTO
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or commensurate years of work experience (If you do not hold a Bachelor’s degree an additional 4 years of relevant experience is required. If you hold an Associate’s degree an additional 2 years of relevant experience is required.)
5+ years of relevant work experience in executing digital strategy and integrated channel marketing
Creating and generating digital content based on the member journey and marketing strategy
Expertise in leveraging data to drive conversions (i.e., A/B testing)
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Strong understanding of digital marketing tools
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a geographically dispersed team
Strong, demonstrated commitment to LEE’s mission, core values, and theory of change
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in designing and deploying complex automations and planning reflexive content over web, email, and SMS
Advanced training in Email Customer Management System (CMS) (Salesforce and Marketo focus preferred)
Experience creating digital content and assets (i.e., Canva, WordPress)
Experience with SEO & paid digital advertising

Pay and Benefits
The position level for this role is ** Director 1** and the corresponding hourly pay range for this position is $39.86-$60.05. Pay is competitive and based upon relevant experience and cost of labor for your location. Physical Requirements & Work Demands:
This position is primarily a sedentary role working with colleagues based around the country using remote technologies.
The person in this position may need to occasionally move about inside the office to liaise with staff or access office equipment.
The person in this position will need to have the ability to travel to in-person meetings in various U.S. cities.
Occasional evening and/or weekend work is required.
