JOB DESCRIPTION: CALL TIME MANAGER
Matthews for Congress is seeking a Call Time Manager for the 2026 election cycle. The Call Time Manager will be a key member of the fundraising team and campaign responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive call time program for Karen Matthews's campaign for the U.S. House of Representatives.
The hiring timeline is as soon as possible and is based in Southern California.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the candidate’s fundraising call time, including leading a system that begins with donor research, developing call sheets in NGP, staffing the call time sessions with the candidate, and conducting timely follow-up with prospective donors and pledges.
Run a robust call time follow-up operation, ensuring that follow-up emails are sent promptly and any resulting staff follow-up is completed in a timely manner.
Provide a daily report to the team of both qualitative and quantitative data.
Assist in the execution and staffing of fundraisers and other campaign events around the district.
Other duties as assigned, which may expand as the campaign grows. We have a small team on the ground, and at times, we will need our call time manager to assist with other campaign-related activities.
Qualifications:
Someone who can thrive in a fast-paced campaign environment, with a high level of attention to detail.
Willingness to work weekends and evenings.
Self starter with excellent work ethic.
A commitment to being a good team player and working amongst a diverse team of campaign professionals.
At least 1 cycle on a campaign (including internships) particularly campaign fundraising, is preferred but not required.
Excellent computer skills, especially in Excel, Google Suite, and with campaign software, including NGP, ActBlue, and call time dialer software are greatly preferred.
Compensation:
Salary: $4,500 per month.
Health insurance premium stipend.
