A campaign for US Senate in Kansas is hiring a Call Time Manager to join their rapidly growing team.
Effective call time is key to our campaign successfully hitting our fundraising targets. The Call Time Manager will manage the candidate’s time on the phone, prep every call, and track every pledge. This is a detail-intensive role that requires someone organized, persistent, and comfortable working directly with the candidate every day.
Responsibilities
• Manage the candidate’s daily call time schedule, ensuring the candidate is making fundraising calls consistently and efficiently.
• Prepare call lists with donor research, talking points, and ask amounts for each call time session.
• Prospect new donors who will be likely to support based on past giving and personal/professional backgrounds.
• Schedule fundraising calls with prospective donors on behalf of the candidate.
• Track call outcomes, pledges, and follow-up actions in the campaign’s CRM system.
• Coordinate with the Finance Director and Scheduling Director to protect and prioritize call time on the candidate’s daily schedule.
• Coach the candidate and provide meaningful feedback on their call time approach.
• Manage pledge follow-up, track pledges precisely, and ensure timely conversion of pledges to contributions.
• Produce regular reports on call time productivity, revenue generated, and pledge pipeline.
Experience & Qualifications
• At least one cycle of call time management or fundraising experience on a political campaign, preferably federal or statewide.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to keep a candidate on schedule and on task.
• Familiarity with donor management systems and call time software.
• Discretion in handling sensitive donor information and conversations.
• Comfortable working directly with candidates and senior staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience coaching and training volunteers or staff.
What Success Looks Like
Success for the Call Time Manager will be measured by the candidate’s call time adherence, the volume of calls completed, pledge conversion rates, and the overall contributions generated through direct donor solicitation.
