Overview
Marlene Galán-Woods for Congress is seeking a ** Call Time Manager** to support the campaign’s finance operation. This is a** full-time, fully in-person position** based in** Arizona’s 1st Congressional District**. This role will report directly to the** Finance Director**.
Background
Marlene Galán-Woods is a former broadcast journalist and mother of five who has lived in Arizona for the past 38 years. Her parents fled communist Cuba looking for a better life. Their risk paid off and allowed Marlene to pursue her career as a broadcast journalist, which brought her to Arizona. She is running for Congress in ** Arizona’s 1st Congressional District**, one of the most competitive battleground districts in the country.
Winning AZ-01 will require a strong, disciplined, and aggressive fundraising operation. The Call Time Manager will play a critical role in building and executing a successful call time program to help fuel a winning campaign.
Responsibilities and Expectations
● Manage the strategic development and day-to-day implementation of the campaign’s call time program
● Prepare and staff the candidate for call time, including scheduling, call sheets, and briefing materials
● Manage donor tracking, follow-up systems, and pledge fulfillment
● Maintain and manage the campaign’s fundraising database
● Oversee interns or junior staff conducting donor research and prospecting
● Build and expand the campaign’s donor universe, with a focus on Arizona-based and national Democratic donors
● Track progress toward call time and fundraising goals and provide regular updates to the Finance Director
