JOB DESCRIPTION

Carleigh Beriont for Congress is hiring finance staff for the 2026 cycle in New Hampshire’s First District.

Carleigh is a lifelong educator, local elected official, mother of two, and wife of a public school teacher. She’s running to hold this critical seat, fight for Granite State families, and bring a new generation of leadership to Washington. The Finance Assistant/ Deputy Finance Director will be part of the leadership team, report directly to the Campaign Manager, and work closely with the candidate.

This full-time, in-person role is based in New Hampshire’s Seacoast region. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and the campaign is looking to fill the position immediately through November 2026.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and staff candidate call time, including preparing call sheets, entering notes, and tracking follow-up.

  • Maintain an organized system for donor research, call time tracking, and follow-up through Pingdex and NGP.

  • Draft and send follow-up communications—emails, thank-you notes, and donor acknowledgments.

  • Support candidate scheduling to maximize call time productivity and donor engagement.

  • Conduct donor research and identify new prospects for call time.

  • Coordinate with the Finance Director on call time strategy, donor pipeline development, and progress tracking.

  • Support the planning and execution of fundraising events and donor meetings as needed.

  • Maintain confidentiality of donor information and ensure accuracy of call time records.

  • Other duties as assigned based on the needs of the campaign.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Google Suite, NGP, ActBlue, and familiarity with call time software (e.g., Pingdex).

  • Comfort working nontraditional hours, including evenings and weekends.

  • Experience in campaign fundraising or political organizing preferred.

  • Commitment to the campaign’s mission and values.
