About the Campaign

Brian Varela is a first-generation American, entrepreneur, father, and community leader fighting to ensure that every family has a fair shot at the American Dream. Brian is fighting for a future where families can thrive, working people are prioritized, and democracy works for all of us.

Brian’s campaign is building a strong, grassroots movement to win in the primary and general election in NJ-7, one of the most competitive Republican-held House seats in the country, and we are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Calltime Manager to help power our fundraising operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Staff candidate call time, answering questions, managing lists, and taking notes.

  • Handle follow-up emails, texts, and pledge tracking from call time.

  • Draft and send fundraising emails and texts, call time materials, thank-you notes, follow-up correspondence, etc.

  • Provide administrative support to the Deputy Finance Director, including scheduling and managing call time, preparing briefing materials, executing events, etc.

  • Support the broader campaign team as needed.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

  • Commitment to the mission and values of the campaign.

  • Excitement to learn quickly and work hard!

Work Environment
