JOB DESCRIPTION

Build Alaska’s Future Action Fund (BAFAction.org) offers an exciting remote Internship opportunity for the 2024 election season from August to November. This flexible and remote position allows you to contribute from anywhere. As an Intern, you'll coordinate our public engagement and digital media strategy, including social media development and campaign messaging. You’ll also work closely with our communications team, engage in day-to-day operations, and contribute to various campaign materials. If you're a team player with strong communication skills, share our commitment to bipartisanship, and want to support candidates with aligned values, join us for this internship and help build Alaska's future!

This stipend-based internship requires a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week. Successful candidates should be proficient in all forms of digital media, hold a bachelor’s degree, be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, or possess equivalent experience. Understanding Alaska's political landscape, interest in policy and election integrity, and a commitment to keeping the 'conversation on the rails' with factual information is essential. Moreover, supporting federal Alaska candidates who endorse the bipartisan infrastructure law and its implications is a key focus.

Prior nonprofit advocacy, social media, or campaign experience is a plus. Hours and pay are negotiable, and the position allows remote work from any U.S. region. Alaskans are preferred.
