Position: Campaign Fellow
Location: Northeastern Pennsylvania, or remote Employment Type: Part-Time (10-15 hours per week) Stipend: $250 per month
The Position:
A Fellow is the front lines of the campaign and their primary is for engaging, energizing, and turning out voters. The role requires significant in-person engagement and creative organizing to increase voter participation in the upcoming State Representative election.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Foster local enthusiasm about the campaign and the candidate's work - Recruit and manage local volunteers
- Build grassroots support coalitions with various groups
- Engage with community stakeholders
- Directly contact voters via doors, phones, and postcards - Assist with additional campaign tasks as needed
- Assist with donor research and prepping for call time
Qualifications:
- Must be a go-getter and relationship-builder — this role is about organizing community support
- Flexibility and Adaptability
- Be able to walk for 4 hours
- Be organized and structured
- Willingness to work outside standard work hours
- Ability to learn or possess a basic level understanding of electoral tools (Votebuilder, NGP, MiniVan)
- Have a passion for local progressive politics and learning new skills
