Osborn for U.S. Senate is hiring Campaign Fellows on one of the most closely-watched Senate races in the country. Dan Osborn is a Navy veteran, mechanic, and former Union President who is running against Pete Ricketts in Nebraska. This is a grassroots campaign funded by individual donors, not Corporate PACs and special interests. Campaign Fellows will be assigned to work with different departments across the campaign, including the Finance, Digital, Communications, Organizing, and Research departments, and will report to members of that specific team.
Responsibilities will include:
● Recruit and manage volunteers
● Help run canvasses and field events
● Collect and report data from voter interactions
● Represent the campaign in the community
● Voter outreach (phone banking, text banking, canvassing)
● Assist with event planning and execution
● Support digital efforts (social media, content creation, email)
● Research local issues and community stakeholders
● Draft campaign materials and statements
● Perform general campaign support tasks as needed
Requirements:
● Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of staff
● Ability/Willingness to work weekends and staff events when needed
● Valid Driver’s license and access to vehicle is preferred
● Ability to meet tight deadlines and problem-solve effectively when under pressure
● Reliable, Organized and Self motivated
● No prior experience required
This position is based in Nebraska – we have offices in Omaha, Kearney, and Lincoln but are accepting applicants from all around the state.
