Internship Opportunity
Summary: The Adem Bunkeddeko Campaign for State Comptroller is seeking talented interns to gain experience working on a statewide campaign - Adem Bunkeddeko for New York Comptroller.
Key Opportunities:
Learn how to conduct direct voter contact including knocking doors and phone banking.
Assist with setting up events included but not limited to in person canvasses, phone banks and community meetings.
Assist with campaign tasks related to speciality and interest including social media, community outreach, operations, and policy research.
Activate key constituency leaders in your community through direct and relational voter contact methods to effectively turn out communities ahead of June and November.
Shadow and assist supervisor with other duties required or assigned.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
Must be at least +18 years of age.
Public facing volunteer experience is preferred, but not required.
Willingness to learn and an interest in campaign work.
Occasional travel to various local sites is expected; reliable transportation is preferred.
Adaptable, solutions-oriented, and motivated by the mission of electing Adem as the next Comptroller of New York State.
Schedule: The schedule will be agreed upon with the campaign. Hours and days are flexible.. Suggested availability would be at least 7 hours a week.
This is an unpaid internship, and we are happy to give volunteer credits, recommendation letters, and other benefits of aiding the campaign.
