POLITICAL CAMPAIGN INTERNSHIP
The Justin Brannan for Comptroller campaign is seeking highly motivated candidates for our Campaign Internship. Interns will assist with a variety of tasks to aid the campaign and report to the field team. Each intern should expect to assist in contacting voters and gain first-hand experience and exposure to political campaigning at the local level, leaving the campaign having made lasting connections and learning lifelong skills.
Responsibilities
Engage in direct voter contact to collect ballot qualification signatures and candidate support ID’s via knocking doors, phone calls, and texting
Meet field goals and metrics set by the Field Director
Assist with visibility efforts, including postering and palm carding high traffic corridors
Requirements
Ideal candidates should be organized, reliable, prompt, detail-oriented and flexible
Eager to learn about campaign strategies and tactics
Past volunteer experience on campaigns is a plus but not required
