Campaign Intern - Adam Hollier for Michigan State Senate, District 3
Senator Adam Hollier is running for reelection to represent Michigan's 3rd Senate District, and we're building a team of committed, curious people to help us win in August. If you want to see how campaigns actually work - not from a textbook, but from the ground up - this is your opportunity.
This is not a desk job. You'll be out in the community: knocking doors, meeting neighbors, staffing events, and helping build the kind of grassroots operation that wins elections. You'll leave with real skills, real relationships, and a real understanding of how political change gets made at the local level.
What You'll Do
Canvass doors and engage District 3 voters in direct conversation
Staff and help organize community events and neighborhood meetings
Support volunteer recruitment and coordination
Assist with block club and community organization outreach
Help track field data and keep our operation running smoothly
Show up, follow through, and be a face of this campaign
What You'll Gain
Hands-on experience in a live Michigan Senate campaign
Exposure to field strategy, voter contact, and political organizing
Mentorship and a personal letter of recommendation from Senator Hollier upon successful completion
Coordination with your school or program to satisfy internship, volunteer, or community service credit requirements
A network of community leaders, organizers, and political professionals in Detroit and across Michigan
Who we're looking for
We welcome applicants of all backgrounds - high school students, college students, recent graduates, and community members who want to be part of something meaningful. You don't need prior campaign experience. You do need to be reliable, people-oriented, and genuinely invested in District 3.
