driven Campaign Manager.

Position Summary

The Campaign Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive,

multi-million dollar campaign strategy to re-elect Justice Anita Earls to the North Carolina

strategies.

Team Management: Hire, supervise, and support campaign staff and consultants,

fostering a collaborative and accountable team culture.

Fundraising Oversight: Partner with the candidate, Finance Director, and compliance

team to raise the funds necessary to win, including managing events, and initiating donor

outreach, both in-state and national.

Communications Coordination: Support messaging development and coordinate

internal and external communications, including press, digital content, and surrogate

amplification.

Field and Coalition Building: Guide a statewide field program in coordination with the

NCDP focused on volunteer recruitment, community engagement, and coalition

partnerships.

Budget and Compliance: Manage the campaign budget in collaboration with the

Treasurer and ensure legal and ethical compliance in all campaign activities.

Principal Management: Work closely with Justice Earls to manage her schedule,

prepare for events, and ensure alignment across all aspects of the campaign.

Partnership and Coalition Building: Work in tandem with the Joint Judicial Caucus,

Court of Appeals candidates, county parties, PACs, and other trusted state and national

progressive partners to raise money and amplify the campaign’s message.

senior-level role (Campaign Manager, Political Director, etc.)

learn it quickly

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Deep commitment to racial justice, equity, and inclusive leadership

Calm under pressure, highly organized, and able to manage competing priorities

Excellent time management skills and willingness to work long, flexible hours in a
