JOB DESCRIPTION

Brendan Leddy, Candidate for State Representative, HD-52 is seeking an ambitious campaign staffer for logistical support, including but not limited to the following areas below:

·      Campaign organization: Manage a calendar and maintain structure throughout the candidacy, including regular check-ins with the candidate.

·      Constituent engagement: Support the candidate in frequent community participation opportunities, including events and canvassing.

·      Media and Messaging: Support candidate in online presence ensuring regular updates and producing consistent messaging throughout all campaign communications.

·      Policy analysis: Analyze current and proposed policies relevant to the district and campaign, particularly focusing on state-level initiatives.

·      Campaign finance: Help with treasury and financial reporting, organizing budgeting and resource allocation.

All interested parties are encouraged to apply, however, applicants with the following backgrounds will be preferred:

·      Current Undergrad in Political Science, Communications or relevant fields. Equivalent experience will be noted.

·      Knowledge of state-level election process and policies.

·      Experience with canvassing or other forms of community engagement is preferred but not required.

·      Excellent interpersonal communication is preferred.

·      Passion for politics and the supported policies is strongly preferred

 

Salary is flexible according to fundraising and overall campaign success, particularly election results.
