Job Title: Campaign Manager

Location: House districts across Oregon

Compensation: $4,636 to $5,667 per month, depending on experience

Hours: Full-time

Duration: 2026 Cycle

Preferred Start Date: May 20, 2026

 

FuturePAC, the campaign committee of the Oregon House Democrats, is seeking to hire collaborative, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Campaign Managers to help lead House Democrats and Democratic candidates to victory in the 2026 election cycle. Campaign Managers are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functions of the campaign and the successful implementation of the campaign plan. Our Campaign Managers are committed to maintaining and expanding a Democratic majority in the Oregon House of Representatives.

 

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • With support from FuturePAC, campaign managers will draft and implement a winning campaign plan that outlines the campaign’s efforts through Election Day.

  • In coordination with the Future PAC Finance Director, draft and implement a fundraising and outreach plan for the candidate that will ensure the campaign’s ability to fully fund the campaign plan.

  • Work with the campaign’s treasurer to establish and maintain accurate records of campaign account, contributions, and expenditures, and assist the treasurer with contribution and expenditure report filings when needed.

  • Manage the candidate’s schedule, staff fundraising, and community outreach efforts. Ensure the candidate is prepared for every event and has the information they need to be successful. 

  • Oversee the campaign’s Field Organizer, if applicable. Work in coordination with the Field Organizer or FuturePAC staff to draft and implement a field plan to meet voter outreach benchmarks.

  • Using the candidate’s personal network, county parties, and local connections to recruit, train, and manage campaign volunteers. Secure commitments throughout the cycle and delegate relevant tasks.

  • With support from FuturePAC, serve as the campaign contact for local and statewide media, draft press releases - when appropriate - and prepare the candidate for press opportunities.

  • Other duties as assigned

 

Required Qualifications

  • Work, volunteer, academic, and life experience are all acceptable

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a friendly and open attitude

  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines to complete projects on agreed-upon timelines.

  • Ability to remain flexible, handling multiple work streams and pivoting when needed. 

  • Ability to work in a high-stress environment under tight campaign deadlines, with a tendency for organization, kindness, and humor

  • A minimum of one cycle of experience on campaigns, ideally as a campaign manager or having managed staff in some capacity

  • Strong commitment to equity, racial justice, and alignment with our goal of electing Democrats to the Oregon House of Representatives

  • Capacity to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, both in-person and remotely

  • Valid driver's license, access to a vehicle, and a personal laptop

 

Ideal Qualifications (but not required)

  • Experience with VAN

  • Experience with WarChest

  • Knowledge of ORESTAR and campaign finance in Oregon

 

Compensation

  • Salary: $4,636 to $5,667 per month, depending on experience

  • Health, Dental, and Vision insurance is fully covered.

  • PTO and sick time.
