Summary: The New Hampshire Democratic Party Senate Caucus (NHSDC) and New Hampshire Democratic Party (NHDP) are seeking Campaign Managers to support our candidates in targeted districts. Managers are responsible for all departments of each campaign working alongside consultants, partner organizations, and the candidate. Managers report directly to their candidate and the NHSDC Executive Director. These are political positions in a collaborative, fast-paced, and innovative environment. This role is in-person in New Hampshire, with travel throughout the state required.
About the NHSDC: The New Hampshire Senate Democratic Caucus runs State Senate campaigns, in order to retake the New Hampshire Senate majority. We are planning an ambitious and comprehensive program to defeat the Republican gerrymander and build a Caucus capable of competing for the majority every cycle. Working for the NHSDC is a great opportunity to try new techniques or ideas, build experience across campaign departments, and help Granite Staters improve their lives.
Responsibilities:
Directly manage a competitive State Senate campaign
Supervise campaign staff, interns, and volunteers
Manage relationships with vendors, consultants, partner organizations and local groups
Develop and execute a fundraising plan, manage calltime and events
Work with NHSDC staff and consultants to develop budgets and paid communications plans
Respond to press inquiries, build relationships with reporters as appropriate, work with NHSDC staff to implement an earned communications plan, and draft press releases
Manage field operations for the campaign
Manage social media profiles
Draft written content for the campaign
Qualifications:

1+ cycles of campaign experience. Those with experience as an organizer or finance associate/call time manager, or as an intern in an organizing or finance department, are especially encouraged to apply.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Volunteer management experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with Votebuilder, NGP, and ActBlue is desired but not required
Willingness and ability to learn new skills.
Salary, Benefits, and Requirements: Annual salary is $60,000, with health, vision, and dental insurance at no premium to the employee and family. This role requires significant work outside normal operating hours, especially during the on-year. Access to reliable transportation is required.
