The re-election campaign of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is looking for a CAMPAIGN MANAGER/FIELD DIRECTOR ready to start immediately to lead our people-powered campaign. The son of Harlem, Alvin made history with his election in 2021 and has delivered the safety we need, the fairness we deserve, and justice for all.
We’re looking for a passionate, hard-working, engaging individual who wants the chance to play a crucial role in one of the most-watched 2025 races in the country and is ready to lead day-to-day operations, implementing a robust field plan, developing and executing grassroots organizing strategies, and working to build a strong network of supporters and volunteers. The individual will work directly with the candidate as well as consultants and advisors to the campaign. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference as well as gain experience and advance in this field.
Responsibilities Include:
Working with the candidate and consultants to implement an effective campaign strategy with a boroughwide field plan, making sure deadlines are met and tasks completed.
Set, meet, and exceed benchmarks for petitioning, voter contact, volunteer recruitment, grassroots engagement, and GOTV
Creating systems and structures to measure and optimize performance and meet campaign goals.
Establishing a strong professional culture within the campaign focused on accountability, specific goals, and utilization of best practices, innovation, and a sense of purpose while maintaining a fun atmosphere.
Overseeing and organizing the political outreach to community groups, unions, and elected officials.
Overseeing the recruitment and management of volunteers and interns.
Managing voter contact tools, including relational organizing tools
Job Requirements:
2-3 cycles of campaign experience
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
Can start immediately in New York City
Experience managing and training high-performing volunteers
Experience with and ability to train on Votebuilder (VAN)
Strong understanding of the Neighborhood Team organizing model
