Treble for Congress is seeking an experienced manager and campaign strategist to serve as Campaign Manager for a highly competitive, battleground 2026 House race. This role will be for two years, 2025 and 2026, with significant room for leadership and career growth and the potential to extend past 2026.
About Jonathan Treble: Jonathan is a small business owner from a union-rooted family, running to be a new voice for the party and a voice for his community. After having the idea in his living room, Jonathan went literally door-to-door to sell it, growing his company from zero to over 100 workers and a national footprint. In the era of Trump, Jonathan was inspired to run for office amidst cuts to federal programs that he sees as vital to America. Jonathan is running to set a new standard for representation in Arizona’s 1st Congressional District.
About AZ-1: Arizona’s 1st Congressional District is a swing district which was won by Biden in 2020 but flipped to Trump in 2024. The district is rated R+1 by Cook Political Report, and is currently held by MAGA Republican David Schweikert. In 2024, over $30M was spent in this nationally watched battleground district. The district covers northeast Maricopa County, including parts of Phoenix and Scottsdale.
Position Overview: The Campaign Manager will be responsible for managing campaign staff, working with a team of consultants and stakeholders, managing a large primary budget, setting and achieving strategic goals, and working campaign hours to ensure a successful campaign. The campaign manager will report directly to the candidate.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Oversee all aspects of the campaign including fundraising, field, communications and political.
Develop and manage a campaign plan and budget.
Set strategic priorities and ensure they are reflected in the campaign schedule.
Hire, train, and manage campaign staff.
Cultivate and manage relationships with stakeholders across the political spectrum and provide campaign updates as needed.
Manage campaign cash flow with the Finance team.
Manage the consultant team.
Ensure campaign administrative responsibilities such as scheduling, payroll, billing, compliance, HR, and other office operations are properly handled.
Staff the candidate and other responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
At least two cycles of campaign management experience required.
Experience running the finance side of a campaign.
Experience developing and managing a campaign plan, budget, and monitoring cash flows, and navigating budget gaps is a plus.
Comfortability working with stakeholders across the political spectrum and ability to adapt an innovative approach to running in a battleground district.
Supervisory experience, including managing staff, candidates, or teams/coalitions.
Outstanding interpersonal skills, especially conflict resolution.
Skilled facilitator who can lead meetings, strategic planning, and other processes.
Strong organizational skills, to ensure the team is working in a coordinated and organized manner across departments.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Self-starter with great time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Experience using Google Suite and NGPVAN. Experience with Numero is a plus.
Familiarity with election compliance law.
A valid US driver’s license and access to reliable, insured transportation.
