Seeking a campaign manager for a very competitive Georgia legislative race in the Atlanta
suburbs. Although this is a state legislative race, it will involve national engagement because the Republican opponent is one of GA’s false electors in 2020.
The campaign manager will develop and execute the campaign plan and directly oversee fundraising, organizing, political, and communications operations. The campaign manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the campaign:
Coordinate with the candidate and full campaign team to set goals and deadlines for staff
Follow up with staff to ensure goals and deadlines are being met
Ensure the campaign is following all applicable laws and regulations
Ensure timely campaign communications, including fundraising emails, social media content, and questionnaires
Oversee and manage the candidate’s schedule
Staff the candidate at in-person and virtual events
Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and contractors and act as point of contact for campaign inquiries
Manage and build relationships with community members, organizations, and coalitions
Manage organizational and individual endorsement processes and political outreach.
Assist with fundraising as needed, including outreach, donor research, and call time
Manage and hire open Campaign positions and help recruit Political Consultants.
Identify and delegate tasks as needed
Preferred Requirements:
2-3 Cycles of campaign experience, with at least 1 in a senior role.
Strong writing skills and experience drafting political communications
Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multitude of stakeholders and collaborators
Strong campaign fundraising experience, as well as digital fundraising experience.
Experience using NGP VAN, G Suite, Numero
Pay / Job Timeline:
This is a full-time position
Work will be In Person.
Monthly range full-time: $5,500 - $6,500
