JOB DESCRIPTION: CAMPAIGN MANAGER
Dr. Mariah Lancaster for Congress is seeking**** a** Campaign Manager** for the 2026 election cycle to manage the campaign staff and consultants through a competitive primary election. The campaign manager should be creative, organized, and a team player. This position is based in the Salem, MA area, and this staffer will be expected to regularly staff the principal in-person and virtually. Preference will be given to candidates who are from and/or have political experience in Massachusetts.
Oversee all operations of the campaign, including managing a team of national consultants and staff, managing the campaign budget, and establishing the campaign’s day-to-day priorities.
Manage the execution of messaging and voter contact strategy and measuring progress-to-goal across all departments.
Determine the candidate’s daily priorities and set the candidate’s schedule.
Staff the candidate during meetings, events, and travel as necessary.
Build a strong, trusting relationship with the candidate, the consultant team, and other advisors to ensure seamless communication and transparency among the campaign’s stakeholders.
Foster a team culture of inclusivity, collaboration, teamwork, and positivity.
At least 3 years of experience in political campaigns, including at least one cycle as a campaign manager.
Strong command over campaign budgeting and cash flow.
Demonstrated experience managing candidates, staff, and consultants.
Strong work ethic and willingness to work weekends and long hours in a fast-paced campaign environment.
Excellent computer skills, especially Excel, Google Sheets, NGP, ActBlue, and VAN.
Salary starts at $7,000-$8,000 per month and is commensurate with experience.
Health insurance stipend up to $400, if needed.
