JOB DESCRIPTION

CAMPAIGN MANAGER — Edward Worthington for President 2028

Location: Hampton Roads area, Virginia, with frequent national travel

Type: Full-time, through November 2028

Compensation: $6,000–$8,000 per month

The Campaign: Edward O. Worthington is a Democratic candidate for President of the United States in 2028. Edward drove a tractor-trailer for 21 years, coast to coast, and saw in every city the people the government has turned its back on — the homeless, veterans, working families crushed by a bad economy. His campaign has one message: help the people who cannot help themselves. Nobody is above the law, and nobody is beneath its protection.

The Role: The Campaign Manager is the senior staff leader of the campaign. You will run the day-to-day operation, build the team, and turn Edward's message into a national organization that can compete in all 50 states.

Responsibilities:

- Build and execute the national campaign plan: fundraising, field, communications, and ballot access across all 50 states and D.C.

- Recruit, hire, and manage campaign staff, consultants, and volunteers

- Manage the candidate's schedule for maximum impact: town halls, rallies, media, debates, and fundraising

- Lead fundraising strategy: donor research, call time, events, and digital fundraising

- Oversee ballot-access operations: petitions, filing fees, and deadlines in every state

- Serve as the campaign's day-to-day decision-maker and liaison to the candidate

Qualifications:

- At least one full cycle as a campaign manager or senior staffer on a federal or statewide race; presidential or multi-state experience strongly preferred

- Proven fundraiser — you have raised real money and can build a finance operation from scratch

- Experience with NGP/VAN, ActBlue, and standard campaign tools

- Deep knowledge of the Democratic primary landscape and ballot-access mechanics

- Calm under pressure, decisive, and able to lead a team through a long national campaign

- Belief in the mission: a government that serves the people it has forgotten
