JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview:

Caitlin Draper is seeking a dynamic and experienced Campaign Manager to lead her congressional race in Arkansas's 3rd Congressional District (AR-03). This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a competitive campaign aimed at representing the interests and values of the people of Northwest Arkansas in the United States Congress.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive campaign strategy in collaboration with the candidate, senior staff, and consultants. This includes setting goals, identifying target demographics, and outlining tactics to effectively reach voters.

2. Team Management: Recruit, train, and supervise campaign staff and volunteers. Provide leadership, support, and guidance to ensure that all team members are working cohesively towards common objectives.

3. Field Operations: Oversee field organizing efforts, including voter outreach, canvassing, phone banking, and voter registration drives. Monitor progress, track data, and adjust strategies as needed to maximize voter engagement and turnout.

4. Fundraising: Coordinate fundraising activities and events, including donor outreach, solicitation, and compliance with campaign finance regulations. Develop and execute strategies to meet fundraising goals and ensure financial viability throughout the campaign.

5. Communications: Work closely with the communications team to develop messaging, media relations strategies, and digital outreach campaigns. Ensure consistent and effective communication with the public, the press, and supporters across various platforms.

6. Political Outreach: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, community leaders, elected officials, party organizations, and interest groups. Represent the candidate at events, meetings, and forums to expand support and visibility for the campaign.

7. Strategic Planning: Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities and challenges in the political landscape. Stay informed about relevant issues, trends, and developments that may impact the campaign's success.

 

Qualifications:

● Previous political campaign or adjacent experience, preferably with strong fundraising experience. An excellent candidate will have served at the director level in a congressional or statewide race, or served as campaign manager for a state legislative race or equivalent.

● Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of staff and volunteers.

● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

● Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful campaign strategies.

● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate the candidate's message effectively to various audiences.

● Knowledge of campaign finance laws and regulations.

● Willingness to temporarily relocate to Northwest Arkansas for the duration of the campaign.

About Caitlin: Caitlin Draper is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Democrat running for US Congress from Arkansas’s 3rd District. Caitlin has a private psychotherapy practice in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where she specializes in eating disorders and the Autism Spectrum. Caitlin is currently going through IVF and is passionate about restoring reproductive rights in the United States. She is married to her husband and has two cats.
