Position: Campaign Manager
Location: Downtown Chicago, IL (In-Person)
Salary:
$2,400 - $3,800 per month (W2 not 1099)
$10k win bonus
$0 premium (employer covers full premium) health insurance
Overview: Isaiah White’s campaign for Chicago School Board District 6A is hiring a full-time Campaign Manager, starting mid to late July.
Manage the candidate’s schedule and attend meetings and events with the candidate.
Build a strong and thorough campaign plan including field, digital, mail.
Develop relationships with community organizations, leaders, and stakeholders to expand the campaign’s reach.
Manage a staff of 2-6 paid staffers and 30+ volunteers.
Manage the campaign airtable and execute or delegate all tasks within.
Recruit, train, and support volunteer leaders.
1+ cycle of political experience either paid _or _volunteer.
Familiarity with VAN/Organizer/Nationbuilder.
Comfortability working long and irregular hours in a fast-paced, especially as we get closer to the election.
Highly organized and disciplined.
Kind and empathetic.
Car ** NOT** required, driver’s license preferred.
Deep understanding of the Chicago political environment is ** NOT** required.
While performing the required duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand, walk, kneel, bend, use hands to type; handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The position is subject to lifting objects over 50 pounds frequently.
