Nick Vivio for Congress is seeking a seasoned, strategic, and mission-driven** Campaign Manager** to lead a high-stakes race in Missouri’s 2nd Congressional District, a DCCC red-to-blue target race. The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver with a "team-first" mentality, ready to execute a campaign focused on addressing medical and everyday affordability as well as championing the** Clean Slate Project,** a project to create medical debt forgiveness in Missouri.
This role is responsible for translating the candidate’s vision into a winning operational reality, overseeing everything from high-level strategy and budget management to day-to-day staff coordination.
Create, implement, and refine a comprehensive campaign plan, including voter contact, communications, and field strategy to win a competitive district.
Serve as the primary point of coordination for the candidate; manage their daily schedule, priorities, and provide coaching for public appearances and stump speech delivery.
Recruit, hire, and supervise a team of staff, interns, and specialized consultants (finance, digital, and mail), fostering a culture of inclusivity and professional excellence.
In partnership with the fundraising team, develop and manage the campaign budget and cash flow; ensure all departments are meeting progress-to-goal benchmarks.
Work with the communications team to ensure pithy, punchy delivery of campaign themes across all platforms, including social media and press relations.
Coordinate with legal and compliance counsel to ensure strict adherence to all FEC regulations and Missouri election laws.
At least 3 years of political campaign experience, with at least one cycle serving in a management or supervisory role.
Familiarity with the political landscape of Missouri or the Greater St. Louis area is preferred.
A demonstrated commitment to progressive/middle-class values, specifically regarding healthcare reform and economic justice.
Proficiency with industry-standard tools including NGP/VAN, Votebuilder, ActBlue, and Google Workspace.
Exceptional interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to communicate empathetically with voters and staff alike.
Willingness to work the "non-traditional" hours inherent to a federal race, including frequent evenings and weekends.
Competitive monthly salary $9-12,000/month commensurate with experience.
