JOB DESCRIPTION

Josh Elliott is building a grassroots, people-powered campaign for Connecticut Governor. Josh is a Hamden small business owner, fifth-term Democratic State Representative, and Deputy Speaker of the Connecticut House. For years, he’s stood up to the special interests that have made life less affordable and driven families out of our state. Now, he’s running for Governor to bring the new leadership we all deserve. Core responsibilities

  • Drive execution of integrated campaign strategy across communications, field, and fundraising; track campaign goals and metrics

  • Own and manage high-level political relationships, including local party leaders, delegates, elected officials, coalition partners, and other stakeholders

  • Manage, develop, and coach campaign staff

  • Oversee campaign budget and spending, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities

  • Oversee candidate scheduling

  • Help build and scale field infrastructure and systems to support voter contact goals

  • Support high-level fundraising, including call time and donor cultivation

  • Expand earned media opportunities in coordination with communications team

  • Lead rapid response and problem-solving across campaign operations
