The Tarik for Congress Campaign for MA-05 is seeking a full-time Campaign Manager to oversee all day-to-day operations for his campaign.
The Campaign Manager will collaborate closely with the candidate and the team to strategize and implement key initiatives related to field operations, fundraising, communications, and political endorsements.
We are looking for candidates with experience in MA politics, a strong understanding of issues affecting the District, and a proven track record of managing teams in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments. This position is set to start immediately and will run through the primary in late September 2026. This role will primarily involve in-person work, with some opportunities for remote flexibility. As the September primary approaches, expect a fast-paced environment with occasional long hours.
Responsibilities:
Exhibit strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple campaign priorities effectively.
Oversee and implement a comprehensive voter contact plan.
Coordinate a volunteer-led ballot petitioning process.
Manage a complex campaign budget.
Oversee all communications, including messaging, press releases, e-blasts, social media, website updates, campaign literature, and graphic design.
Manage endorsements by facilitating survey completion, interview preparation, and post-endorsement coordination.
Recruit, hire, train, and manage the field director, volunteers, interns, and communications staff
Foster team collaboration to ensure a cohesive and motivated campaign team.
Liaise with the campaign’s political consultants and facilitate weekly meetings.
Ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the campaign, ensuring all tasks and goals are met.
Prioritize the candidate’s activities and visibility throughout the district.
Required Experience:
Preferred Skills/Experience:
At least one campaign cycle of experience as a Field Director, Communications Director, or Campaign Manager.
Strong networking skills to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
A minimum of one cycle of campaign experience in MA.
Demonstrated proficiency with key campaign email, text messaging, and phone banking platforms.
