FuturePAC, the campaign arm of the Oregon House Democrats, is seeking a committed, hardworking, and energetic professional to serve as Campaign Services Director, helping lead House Democrats and Democratic candidates to victory in the 2026 election.
The Campaign Services Director will be the primary liaison between candidate campaigns, FuturePAC, House Caucus Leadership, partners, and consultants. This includes advising staff and candidates, partnering with consultants, and strategic planning. Positions are based in the SW Portland metro area and require regular travel throughout the state. This position reports directly to the Executive Director.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Work with candidates, consultants, and campaign teams to develop and execute highly tailored campaign plans, including field, fundraising, and community outreach. Key responsibilities may include:
Personnel and Management
Recruit, train, and help manage campaign staff throughout the state
Work with campaigns to track and analyze progress on campaign goals; find creative solutions to campaign challenges
Produce reports on campaign progress for the Executive Director and House Leadership team
Leading ongoing training for campaign teams, including both candidates and staff
Field & Organizing
Train candidates and staff on effective voter contact techniques
Train staff on volunteer recruitment and other field best practices
Write and approve voter contact scripts
Work with campaign teams to track and evaluate field data to help guide campaign strategy
Finance (in tandem with FuturePAC Finance Director) ** **
Help candidates develop and execute individual donor programs
Train and work with campaign managers and candidates on call time
Work with incumbent legislators to host fundraising events
Work with campaigns on smart budgeting and cash flow management
Analyze the need and availability of campaign resources in each district
Political
Monitor opposition activity
Connect House Leadership and state legislators with candidates and their campaigns.
And other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Work, volunteer, academic, and life experience are all acceptable
Candidates for this position must have excellent judgment, strong time management and organizational skills, and a strong work ethic. Additionally, qualified candidates should have:
At least one cycle of campaign management experience at the state legislative level or higher
Great communication skills, both verbal and written
Mastery of campaign tools and terminology, including the Voter Activation Network (VAN)
Proven ability to think outside the box and work collaboratively as a team in a high-intensity work environment
Flexibility to work long hours, including nights and weekends, increasing as we get closer to Election Day
Working laptop
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Ideal Qualifications (but not required)
Experience with NGP-VAN and Warchest
Knowledge of ORESTAR and campaign finance in Oregon
Knowledge of Oregon advocacy groups and elected officials
Experience managing staff
Compensation
Salary is $6,000-$7,000/month, depending on experience.
Health insurance is fully covered.
PTO and sick time.
Cell phone and mileage reimbursement.
This is a cycle role that runs through November 2026, with one month of severance paid at the end of the employment term.
