JOB DESCRIPTION

Description

Working Class Heroes Fund is seeking a Campaigns Manager to support working-class pro-labor candidates. A successful applicant will be a self-starter, detail-oriented and highly organized, with a proven record of leadership skills and innovation.

WCHF was founded by labor leader and independent Senate candidate Dan Osborn.

Overview

The Campaigns Manager will be a member of senior staff and work closely with the campaign leadership team to draft and execute a comprehensive campaign plan, including a robust fundraising strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the overall campaign strategy, including fundraising, communications, field, and voter outreach plans.

  • Oversee all aspects of campaign finance operations, including fundraising goals, budget allocation, and financial reporting.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, volunteers, and other key stakeholders.

  • Supervise and mentor campaign staff, including finance staff.

  • Manage all aspects of campaign logistics and operations.

Requirements

Qualified candidates will excel at working with candidates, consultants, vendors, senior staff and a wide variety of stakeholders. They will demonstrate:

  • Commitment to electing working class candidates to federal office, and alignment with the belief that more working class people deserve a seat at the table in Washington.

  • Minimum one cycle of experience as a Campaign Manager, Deputy Campaign Manager, or a senior leadership role on a competitive statewide, congressional, or large municipal campaign.

  • Proven success in developing and executing winning campaign strategies, including fundraising plans.

  • Experience with campaign finance software (e.g., NGP VAN).

  • Willing to relocate for the duration of the current campaign cycle.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including public speaking and media relations experience.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
