JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview

The 2026 Pennsylvania Coordinated Campaign is seeking Campus Organizers (COs) to mobilize young voters across college campuses. COs will drive young voter contact and turnout as the on-the-ground leaders of our campaign’s youth organizing program — turning campus energy into consistent volunteer action and measurable electoral impact.

The Pennsylvania Democratic Party (PDP) is committed to electing Democrats at every level of government and building a strong, inclusive organization across the Commonwealth. This is a full-time, in-person position based in an assigned turf within Pennsylvania.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead young voter contact efforts, including voter registration, voting plan formation and follow-up, and GOTV (Get Out The Vote)

  • Plan and execute volunteer opportunities to increase on-campus campaign visibility and young voter turnout, including tabling, canvassing, and text-banking

  • Recruit, train, and empower student volunteers and fellows through consistent community outreach and investment

  • Build a pipeline of engagement that turns volunteers into leaders, allowing our program to scale beyond your individual capacity

  • Prioritize community- and relationship-building through creative events and 1:1s, bringing together young leaders, student organizations, and coalitions

  • Invest in the quality and quantity of touchpoints with young voters, from Welcome Week, to the voter registration deadline, to GOTV, and beyond

Required Skills, Abilities, and Experience

  • Commitment to work hard to bring home the win for PA and the nation

  • Belief in the power of community organizing to bring about meaningful change

  • Comfort in talking to anyone and everyone to get them involved in our campaign

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Flexible, adaptable, and solutions-oriented

  • Dedication to fostering a motivating, inclusive, and accountable team culture

  • Ability to track and report data in a timely, consistent, and accurate manner

  • Ability and willingness to work full-time on college campuses and in field offices, including nights and weekends

  • Ability and willingness to travel within your assigned region

  • Access to a reliable vehicle and cell phone

  • Previous campaign organizing experience is a plus, but not required — as long as you are eager to learn, we will give you all the training and support you need

  • If you were _rea_lly into sports, board games, or any competitive activity growing up, then this is the right job for you!

If you don’t meet all the requirements but are passionate about PA and interested in getting involved with campaigns, please apply.

Salary and Benefits

The pay for this position starts at $19.47/hour with employer-sponsored health, vision, and dental insurance.

Start and End Dates

This position is expected to start on July 1, 2026 and end on November 15, 2026.
