About the Role:
Corinne Fisher’s mayoral campaign is seeking passionate and motivated Campus Organizers to lead petitioning efforts on college campuses across New York City. This is a critical role in ensuring Corinne gets on the ballot by mobilizing students, collecting signatures, and building grassroots support among young voters.
Responsibilities:
Organize and lead petitioning efforts on campus, ensuring we collect valid signatures from registered voters
Recruit student volunteers to help with petitioning efforts
Conduct outreach through student organizations, clubs, and campus events
Report signature counts to meet signature goals
Educate students about the importance of ballot access and voter engagement
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled at a college/university in NYC
Passion for progressive politics, student activism, and grassroots organizing
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students
Comfortable approaching people and initiating conversations in public spaces
Ability to work independently and meet signature collection goals
Experience in campaign work, student government, or advocacy groups is a plus
