About the Assembly Democratic Campaign Committee:
The Wisconsin Assembly Democratic Campaign Committee (WI ADCC) is the only Democratic organization solely focused on recruiting, training, and electing Democrats to the Wisconsin State Assembly. With new legislative maps, we are fighting for a Democratic Majority in 2024!
Director Role:
The Candidate Services Director is responsible for supporting all Democratic Assembly Candidates, with a focus on incumbents and first-time candidates. They will assist with candidate recruitment and manage our ongoing candidate training program. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is passionate about helping Democratic candidates run strong, organized campaigns all across the state.
Job Responsibilities:
Serve as the point of contact to incumbents and candidates on day-to-day campaign questions, operations support, and assistance with all aspects of their campaign, including but not limited to, canvassing, fundraising, and budgeting
Holding assigned candidates and incumbents accountable to their campaign plans, including canvassing and fundraising goals, and reporting to Leadership team
Develop and manage ongoing candidate training program in collaboration with the Campaigns Director and the Executive Director
Coordinate with ADCC’s mail and digital vendors to manage the caucus’ Buy-In Media Program, available to all candidates
Assisting other ADCC staff with fundraising and opposition research as needed
Developing relationships with political stakeholders, allied organizations, and local Democratic committees including county parties
Support candidates with partner endorsement processes and surrogate requests
On-year requirements include working outside of normal work hours; including canvassing and other election-preparation as necessary.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must be highly organized, able to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple deadlines, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. An ideal Campaigns Director candidate will possess:
At least two (2) cycles of paid campaign experience, with at least one cycle of campaign management or director-level experience preferred
Quick problem-solving skills and solutions-oriented mindset. Must be able to take, give, and implement feedback
Ability to manage multiple projects/deadlines at once and keep calm in stressful situations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
Reliable access to a computer and personal transportation is required

Working from a computer for long periods of time;

Compensation:
Salary range for this position is $60,000-$70,000 annually depending on qualifications and experience. All caucus staff are provided with a full health care benefits package, including vision and dental.
