Overview: The Minnesota DFL House Caucus is hiring canvassers for the 2026 campaign cycle. Employment is through Election Day. Canvassers will report to the Canvass Director. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and passionate about retaking our House majority and expanding into new districts. Currently we are hiring both part time and full time canvassers.
Job duties:
Door to door canvassing to identify voters
Keep accurate records of conversations
Help teammates to establish best practices
Bring issues to the attention of the Canvass Director or Field Director
Always representing candidates in their issues in the best, honest light
Other duties as assigned
Minimum qualifications:
Some volunteer experience preferred
Active in the DFL Party and passionate about progressive values
Excellent communication in person and on the phone
Access to a smartphone
Reliable transportation
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work without supervision for long periods
Willingness to work irregular hours that are associated with campaigning
Compensation: Compensation is $23/hr or salary equivalent with a** minimum** of 20 hours per week for both part-time and full-time canvassers. Full time canvassers will receive a competitive benefits package that includes health and dental insurance.
