Woman owned Democratic fundraising firm based in the DC-MD-VA area is seeking an experienced Client Associate to work directly with Democratic political candidates, progressive organizations, and non-profits at the federal, state and local levels on all aspects of their fundraising endeavors.

Job Responsibilities:
• Client Support
Work directly with and provide excellent customer service to candidates and their representatives.
Provide strategic and administrative support to candidates in their fundraising efforts.
Draft correspondence on behalf of campaigns and their representatives in support of fundraising and event goals.
Research and prepare lists of potential donors for use during call sessions.
Coordinate outreach and solicitation efforts.
Maintain client and office database content.
Prepare weekly progress reports for clients.
Process contributions.
• Event Planning Assistance
Assist with invitation preparation and distribution.
Coordinate logistics for events with event hosts and locations.
Process event RSVPs and monitor attendance records.
Prepare and maintain registration materials.
Write, prepare, and distribute thank you letters.
Prepare weekly fundraising progress reports.
Staff in-person fundraisers for clients.
Job Qualifications:
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team.
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience on campaigns.
At least 1 year of experience working with a political campaign or in a similar field, preferably at the state or federal level.
Knowledge of local, state and federal political systems and campaign fundraising regulations
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with strong document editing abilities
The ability to multitask, working with a variety of clients simultaneously.
Strong knowledge of and experience working in database systems, experience working with NGP and a strong knowledge of all of its features preferred.
Strong working knowledge of all software applications within the Microsoft Office Suite, advanced skills in Excel preferred .
Good humor and political savvy
The right candidate is meticulously organized, works quickly and efficiently with great accuracy, enjoys executing tasks, manages concurrent projects with ease, presents a professional demeanor to candidates and is passionate about American politics and the Democratic agenda.
This position has a standard, Monday-Friday 9am to 5:30pm weekly work schedule with a hybrid work environment. However, this position is required to staff client events outside of the standard weekly schedule on occasion and some travel both in the DMV and outside the DMV may be required.
Must have reliable transportation.
Salary: commensurate with experience, 50% of employer-provided health insurance covered after 60 days of employment.
