Co-EXEC DIRECTOR for WiseCourage/GetCourageNow
WHO WE ARE:
GetCourageNow is an 8 year old progressive nonprofit tech activist organization. It is now developing possibly America's first NextGenOrganizing mobilizing movement platform to offer at least 3 radical urgently needed innovative organizing & mobilizing tools essential for achieving everything from fair and free November elections to a National Nonviolent Civic Uprising and well targeted Social Strike (NNCUSS)--the historically best proven strategy for toppling fascist regimes. An NNCUSS would in fact be our last best hope to end the fascist takeover if November's elections are stolen and also arguably essential, even if our centrist Democratic Party wins control of Congress to ensure that the radical legislation is passed that will ensure real democracy happens in America.
This link very briefly describes each of our first three tools, one already beta tested with huge success proving that moral courage can be catalyzed at scale, and as a result exponentially increasing resister recruitment metrics for nonviolent direct action tactics.
LOCATION: Remote. Our team is currently based in Philadelphia, home of the ED and founder, but the tech team and researchers are based worldwide and NYC.
HOURS: Flexible, but enough to achieve responsibilities below
THE OPPORTUNITY:
If you agree with 99% of philosophers that moral courage is the most important of all virtues, the virtue that makes the consistent practice of the other virtues possible, then arguably we are pioneering what could be the highest best use of technology ever.

Responsibilities:
Confer daily with original founder and Exec Director re day-to-tasks and priorities
Your responsibilities will be worked out through mutual agreement based on your own skills, time availability, passions and connections
FWIW, the ED/founder's current needs range from 1) help finding partners eager to use the organizers we find and fund through AdoptAnOrganizer; especially for our first mission: organizations focussed on protecting the 9 closeUS Senate Race elections; 2) help finding inspiring video selfies of compassionate people who've provided free temporary housing to homeless vets, refugees, domestic abuse victims etc; 3) help finding ways to find matching donors able to donate $500-1000/mo to match what our aspiring organizers are able to raise for themselves which will include donated housing and $300-500 from friends); and 4) finding talented social media help to get the word out about our free game-changer tools
Qualifications:
The more experience in a position of leadership and/or in creating partnerships with top level organizers in labor, climate, social, or economic justice movements, or finding medium donors, or social media talent, etc the better. BUT IF YOU HAVE NONE OF THAT, but eager to be mentored, that might work out just fine
Big Plus: Having strong trusted relationships with at least one nonviolent resistance strategy-based and/or election protection campaign or nonprofit.
Big Plus: Accustomed to at least one project management tool such as ASANA
A verifiableTrack record demonstrating that you are devoted to bettering the planet and/or humanity
Compensation:
We currently only have enough funding to cover the development costs to create the NextGeneration organizing/mobilizing platform (the three tools).
So as with many co-founders, you would be willing and able to start on a a volunteer or extremely low pay basis. But we will likely find additional funding within 2-4 months, and have a track record to prove it. Our Founding Exec Director is not paid either. The pay mentioned below refers to the minimum of what we hope to pay within 2months after you begin. The contract would stipulate a mutually agreeable percentage of what we are able to raise,
