Job Status: Full-Time, Salary Exempt

Salary Range: $52,000-$60,000 DOE

Who We Are

Arizona Center for Empowerment (ACE), is a community-led and driven organization committed to raising new leadership in Arizona through confronting the most pressing needs of its often underserved communities. Its sister organization, Living United for Change in Arizona (LUCHA), is an organization led by changemakers fighting for social, racial, and economic transformation.

At ACE, we seek to create a more inclusive and just standard of equality in the state of Arizona through civic engagement and strategic efforts regarding issues such as immigration, democracy, voting rights, living wages, and education.  By increasing opportunities for education, leadership development, technical assistance, and training, ACE supports the work of community organizations and leaders who are transforming their communities to create a more sustainable future for all Arizona families.

At Living United for Change in Arizona (LUCHA), we organize with low and moderate-income families, including black and brown communities to take action on the issues most important to them and advance the cause of social and economic justice for all. Since our inception in 2010, LUCHA has transformed Arizona’s political landscape through more than a decade of building political power, achieving strategic electoral victories, and winning policy changes to create a new Arizona – one that centers the needs of all people.

Born in response to SB 1070 and the rising anti-immigrant sentiment in Arizona and across the nation, LUCHA has since defeated the architects of SB 1070, elected progressives to the highest offices in the state, won crucial legislative races, and helped pass life-changing ballot initiatives such as raising the minimum wage, providing earned sick time for millions of Arizonans, and Prop 308. We have also played a key role in defeating Trump in 2020, flipping Arizona Blue, and registering tens of thousands of new voters every election cycle. LUCHA is dedicated to building a just and inclusive Arizona for all its residents.
